Augsburg's Education Department is offering professional development opportunities this summer. You can earn CEU’s and/or graduate credit by completing the course. Teachers will examine their current feedback processes, and explore innovative practices to foster student agency and ownership in their classroom. Teachers will gain practical tools to apply to their classroom, and have workshop time to prepare these materials throughout the course.

Augsburg's Education Department is offering professional development opportunities this summer. You can earn CEU’s and/or graduate credit by completing the course.
During this one-week course, teachers will examine their current feedback processes, and explore innovative practices to foster student agency and ownership in their classroom. Through the Critical Response Process, educators will consider the values, traditions, and challenges embedded in traditional feedback models, and learn new strategies and practices that support collaborative meaning-making, student agency, and rigorous inquiry. This course is for teachers who want to support equity in their classroom, and want to deepen their own knowledge and skills. Teachers will gain practical tools to apply to their classroom, and have workshop time to prepare these materials throughout the course.

Monday, July 21 - Friday, July 25
9:00 am - 3:00 pm Daily
Graduate Credit:
You can elect to take the course for three semester graduate credits for an additional $400. If you elect to take it for graduate credit, there will be additional work that is completed in between each class. You will also have a final assignment that is due at the end of the course. The course number will be EDC: 583-A.
Continuing Education Units:
Upon completion of the course, you will receive a certificate for 30 hours (3.00 CEUs). You can take the course for both CEUs and Graduate Credit if you elect to pay the additional fee.
